Inverter design with average current and voltage loop control

TAGS: PSIM SmartCtrl Power Converter

In this video, PSIM & SmartCtrl are used to implement an inner average current mode control loop and an outer voltage loop. PSIM is used to size the energy storage components, generate frequency response (AC sweep), & to verify the stability. SmartCtrl is used to generate PI controllers for the inner loop and outer loop.
