PSIM provides commonly used electric machine models, mechanical load models and control blocks (such as Maximum-Torque-Per-Ampere (MTPA) Control and Field Weakening Control blocks). You can create and use custom-built machine or load models for greater flexibility.
You also have access to a full complement of built-in motor models including Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (PMSM), Induction Motors, Brushless DC (BLDC) and Switched Reluctance.
Choose from a full complement of worked examples for popular motor types. Examples include the implementation of Field Orientated Control (FOC) with Space Vector Modulation (SVM). Customize examples to suit your needs or incorporate into larger system simulation studies.
